Under HIPAA, we are a “business associate”. Through our use of secure encryption protocols to protect your data at every stage of the transcription process, your data will remain secure from the very beginning when audio is dictated through the final step of transmittal of your finished transcripts to you.
In compliance with current HIPAA regulations, Care Technologies has also deployed security procedures which restrict internal and external access to our facility. We ensure that confidentiality agreements with all transcriptionists and customized Business Associate Agreements with clients are signed in compliance with HIPAA. We continually train staff to ensure that protected health information remains secure at all times.
